Srimathe Rangaramanuja Mahadesikaya Namaha

I is the soul. I is not the body. So why should one worry whose “I” reaches moksham?
Will “I” be Vikram or Renganathan?
Name is not mine. Body is not mine.

Why should “I” worry when there is no distinct identity to adiyen ?

Aneka Koti Namaskarams Swami

Our names change from birth to birth. We are not body. However, we are individual souls carrying karma.

The world is also not Maya and is real. The experiences gained are also real.

Though Krishna says in Bagavad Gita that a soul cannot be cut with weapons, burnt with fire etc, soul is the one who feels joy and pain. Body is just a transmitter. Soul experiences everything.

So, obviously we should be thankful and develop love towards the creator who gives opportunity and take us towards Moksha. Moksha is the only means of continuous uninterrupted bliss, where a soul enjoys Kainkaryams to Perumal.

We can do Kainkaryams here also but we have obstructions like hunger, thirst, disease etc.

Who will not like a place where he has unobstructed bliss?

Further, we may lose our name. But, we don’t lose the identity that we are individual souls. As per Vedanta, a soul can only attain equanimity with Brahmam but is not merging with Brahmam. He remains separate and enjoys bliss.

So, we shall essentially choose the path of Moksha.

Whose ‘I’ reaches Moksha?

‘I’ as individual soul reaches Moksha. Though the souls attain equality, they remain distinct. But, the feeling of ‘I’ is lost on attaining Moksha, as Jiva attains perfect layam with Brahmam yet remaining individual soul.

Brahma Sutras can be taken as Pramana for above.

Hare Krishna! Aneha Koti Namaskaram!

Naan intha udalalla, Gnanenthriyangal alla, karmenthriyangal alla, ithai ellam “ninaikindra manamum” naan alla.

Please note, it is the mind that is doing the discussion, which is also not our real identity. So the “real” identity is the soul whose natural position is to serve the lord.

To swami’s question, it is the same mind that has “resistance” to serve the lord (which is why we are believed to be here), asks this Q. The soul is “stuck” with the subtle (mind) and gross (physical) body and unless we cleanse the mind, there is no liberation.
