Asking questions relevant to our practical life to improve ourselves and applying the answers before asking more questions.. and also doing some service/kainkaryam ( can be as simple as recitation of paasurams for the pleasure of Guru and acharya) in parallel to asking questions.. is the best combination for spiritual progress.
“Just try to learn the truth by approaching a spiritual master. Inquire from him submissively and render service unto him. The self-realized soul can impart knowledge unto you because he has seen the truth.” – BG 4.32
