Srimathe Ramanujaya Namaha,
Since the question was open for a while and some answer struck adiyen’s memory from Swami’s sorpozhivu, adiyen will share with Acharya ThiruvAdi Bhalam.
As we know Butter is the first derivate of Cow’s milk made by Churning Whole fat milk. Other products are made at later stage. Ghee is also called as Clarified Butter.
SriKrishna chose Butter for our benefit.
Swami Says “அவன் கண்ணன் பிறந்தது நமக்கு என்று நினைக்க, நம் பிறவி அவன் தந்தை காலில் பட்டது நமக்கு படும்”

Srimathe Ramanujaya Namaha,
Lacking back on some basic milk process. Small miniscule corrections.
Butter is not first derivative of of milk.
Milk is churned to Curd and by-product Butter milk.
From Curd to Butter is made, and from Butter to Clarified butter (Ghee) is made….etc…
But, Other reasons Saamanya Arthams and Vishesha Arthams mentioned above stays the same, adiyen beleive…….especially adiyen pulled Vishesha Artham (Pot/Butter as Body/Athma comparison) from Swami’s upanyasam.
Additional supporting reference for Saamanya Artham “Butter/Clarified Butter as ANTIDOTE”.. The ancient Ayurvedic classics praise Clarified Butter as the best for successful use in poisoning which is also admitted by the modern classics of Toxicology.
To search the information’s about the effects of the poisons on the victim’s body and utility of Butter/ Clarified Butter (Ghee) on poisoning, the Ayurvedic classic Texts written by Charaka Samhita, Susruta Samhita, Astanga Sangraha and Astanga Hridaya written by great Acharyas/Rishis has details. So it makes sense, why SriKrishna chose Butter to eat, since SriKrishna used to eat lot of soil, mud in his baby time, So, eating Butter was a countermeasure in literal sense.
Adiyen don’t have knowledge on these texts, but it is available in Google. Just FYI for interested candidates.
