adiyen’s understanding is that only an acharya can help us identify Perumaal. If adiyen’s understanding is right, Sukrachariar did identify and warned Mahabali. Also only with Perumaal’s approval / blessing only (which comes through an acharya) we can identify and realize himself.

Correct , sukrAchArya said “Thiru Kandaen” first then identified as Perrumal.
So Devareer is right, Perumal has to expose himself.
