Why should we compare science & spiritualism?

Time and again when science finds something new we start comparing with spiritualism.esp. Hinduism or Santhana dharma

“We have already told this”. What’s the need?

Initially they said 9 planets now they discarded Pluto and say 8 planets.

When they say 9 planets we compare with nava graha. Our nava graha never changed by the way. 2 graha Rahu ketu are shadow something I guess. Graham include sun & moon.

Rick in moon is in black colour said in Veda. It’s compared with moon samples and found to be true.

Problem is some say Neil Armstrong didin’t even land on the moon and entire event was staged in Hollywood studios. Russians do quote flag shadow evidences to prove their point.

Similarly now yoga, breathing etc

Who are westerners to approve our age old system? When will we come out? Why are we still comparing with science and let not our faith take over?

Please forgive if this inadvertently hurts any sentiments.

Why do we think westerners are alien ? Why should they not challenge anything ? Do we acknowledge the values of our system / scriptures ? Realization of ‘Brahman’ is one of the key aspects for any spiritual pursuits.

Bg 5.18 — அடக்கமுள்ள பண்டிதர்கள் தங்களது உண்மை ஞானத்தின் வாயிலாக, கற்றறிந்த தன்னடக்கமுள்ள பிராமணன், பசு யானை, நாய், நாயைத் தின்பவன் என அனை வரையும் சம நோக்கில் காண்கின்றனர்.

Lord Narayana is ‘anthar’ aatma in all living beings that include Sri Brahma down to a blade of grass. It is the lord who supports and encourages anyone to ‘pursue’ anything ONLY to fulfill Jiva’s wishes.

Bg 4.11 — என்னிடம் சரணடைவதற்கு ஏற்றாற் போல, நான் அனைவருக்கும் பலனளிக்கின்றேன். பிருதாவின் மகனே, எல்லா விதத்திலும் அனைவரும் என் வழியையே பின்பற்றுகின்றனர்.

Agree Swamy. Issue is they are quite clever in patenting our technology. Let’s not be surprised if there is an upcoming theory/concept called western “vishistAdvaitam”. They learn from us & start teaching us.

While anthar Athma is about looking inside on spiritual plane how can this be even examined in microscope or telescope?

True Swami, that’s the price that we have to ‘pay’ for not valuing our system. Why we not value, is because the attachment towards ‘material’ world for we depend on western world for all ‘physical’ comforts.

The situation that swami is afraid of, has already happened. One of Adiyen’s friend shared a western philosopher who has ‘apparently’ found, physics and chemistry are ‘created’ by biology. 🙂 So we told our friend, this is the essence of our vedanta and biology is ‘Chit’ while physics and chemistry are ‘Achit’. 🙂 [of course ‘easwara’ is the 3rd and controlling entity]

But if we really apply self-introspection here, we wouldn’t be here if we had developed love for Narayana/Krishna long back. Is it not a fault on our side ? that we are witnessing such events. But what so ever be the cause (a.k.a Karma), this very discussion is happening ‘only’ because of western inventions (internet/social media), so we become responsible that we should help them back.

Heard from a devotee that Srila Prabhupada puts this situation ‘wonderfully’ saying, east knows where to go but is ‘handicapped’ and west knows how to go but is ‘blind’. So you (west) carry them (east) and run, so we will all be successful!

So by using all we have (eastern/western) in the service of the lord, the purpose (of life) is met.

Please correct if there is any misunderstanding.
