Sri:
We say “Happy New Year”. While we say “Happy Tamil New Year” as if actual “New Year” means 1st Jan.
Shouldn’t we say “Happy Gregorian New Year” to everyone?
Mukkur solluvar, Sahasranamam endrAley VishNu Sahasranamam everything else came later so requires prefix.
Andavan sAdhippar, Vedam endrAley sanAthana Dharmam Vedam rest everything prefixed/suffixed by “Muhamadhiyarin Vedam” , “Christian’s Vedam”.
My observation:
Like wise, New Year endrAley Tamil New Year/Sanskrit New Year dhAney.
Why we never say “Happy Gregorian New Year”?
I have started wishing “Happy Gregorian New Year” from yesterday.
