I am unmarried man aged 40. can i take Pancha Samskaram without informing my close family members. I am living with my aged father and i manage to cook sattvic food.

My father (including my siblings) believe I have to follow rigid rules but I believe it is the way of life to become pure (satva) and I want to have pancha samskaram because to get Sri Ramanuja sambadham, kaikariyam and finally vaikunta prapatti that is my only desire.

One small correction Chinnadurai Swami in your intention. Prapatti, Ramanuja Sambandam and Kaimkariyam to Sriman Narayana and his devotees is only what we should desire. I don’t know if we have something called Vaikunta Prapatti. If you had meant Vainkunta Prapti then it’s only a by product not our primary goal. This is based on Velukkudi Swamigal upanyasams and Adiyen also strongly believe in that.
